Gifting Goat Shows You How to Make Baby Shower Party Favors

Gifting Goat shows you step-by-step how to make these adorable and inexpensive baby shower party favors.
What you need:
(Makes 6)
- 6 Chivas Skin Care goat milk bath salt salt sachets (can purchase individually or in a 6-pack)
- 6 pieces of tissue paper
- 6 baby bottles
- scissors
- ribbon
- gift toppers (like the flowers or bear we used)
Directions:
- Put a goat milk bath salt sachet in each baby bottle. Depending on how large the bottle opening is, it may require some squishing but be careful that the sachets don’t tear. Screw the tops back on the baby bottles.
- Place one of the baby bottles in the center of a piece of tissue paper (decorative side should be facing down). If the tissue paper is large you can fold it in half. Then grab the corners of the tissue paper and pull them together at the top. Place your hand around the neck of the baby bottle and squeeze lightly.
- Tie a bow with the ribbon around the neck of the baby bottle and add the gift topper.
- Place these adorable baby shower gifts by the entrance of the party so your guest will see them walking in and also remember to take them when they leave!

We are so excited to have finalized our NEW line of specialty goat milk soaps that are bigger, better and packaged in decorative (and protective) custom-designed paper! As these are hot off the press, they are only available in select stores: Studio Beauty Mix at Fred Segal (Santa Monica, CA), Busy Babes Beauty & Salon (Ojai, CA), Terrain at Home (Anthropology sister store in Glen Mills, PA) and BeautyHabit.com. The photos below are of the brand new display at Fred Segal:
These new soaps are not available on-line, so if you want to see them, you’ve got to go into one of the stores mentioned above. What makes these soaps so special anyways?
#1 As you can tell, we have maintained our original “trapezoidal” soap shape , but rather than being partially-wrapped in kraft corrugated, they are fully-wrapped in bright and cheerful decorative paper (don’t fear, still 100% recycled). The paper is really unique because it was custom designed with images depiciting the Chivas farm – French Alpine goats, milk jugs, herbs, flowers, and more. We’ve done a bit of a “Where’s Waldo?” and snuck in icons of our pot-bellied pig (Piggles) and African tortoises (Mr. and Mrs. Chesterfield) too!
#2 The packaging is more informative about the benefits of goat milk for your skin and the story behind our company, so if you’re giving them as gifts to your family or friends, you have a little cheat sheet. Plus, since they are fully packaged, they feel a bit more “gifty” and you can add them into a little gift set without worrying about them getting dinged up.
#3 We’ve named each soap after a memorable location to us in Southern California. The “Butterfield Road” goat milk soap (teal; energizing peppermint citrus), for example, is named after the street where we first started making soap. Other names include: Oak Meadows Ranch, Ojai Valley Retreat, Topanga Canyon, Las Flores Gardens and Santa Rosa Valley.

Reason Behind Each Ingredient:
Sweet Nothings Goat Milk Bath Salts- the sweet scent of these bath salts will turn a normal bath into a spa experience. These bath salts are made with Dead Sea Salts to detoxify, Goat Milk to nourish, blend of bath oils to moisturize, and pure essential oils and herbs to sooth the senses. Towels- having two towels is decadent and wonderful. For an extra treat put them through the dryer for 10 minutes.

Great pumpkin pie, a new toothbrush, Christmas cards, red lipstick, a hand written letter, cold glass of ice tea and watching Singing in the Rain makes Granny Goat happy. Think of your list and then make a point to find a way to incorporate at least one of those into your busy week.

Bet when you think of goats heavenly scents are not the first thing that come to mind. You’ll be pleasantly surprised when just opening the starter kit box is actually your first treat.
